Many of whom become just a wee bit angry when they lose.

But lose a lot, and it's fire and brimstone.  Join the club.  Laughing

Some guys start out pissed off.  Better watch out for them.

True that, it is proved that people who play chess tend to be better at math and academics. (there's me sounding like a nerd who knows it all.)

As an angry looking cat with a baseball bat your credibility is questionable,

AlCzervik

At least that cat isn't holding a gun (although, I did like that pic)

Pff.  Shakespeare.

All those stupid monkeys ever churn out are limericks.

You're right. I even found one though I had to dodge the flinging feces to retrieve it.

There once was an American named Andy

Who spouted nonsense like candy

He tried to be witty

But it turned out real [CENSORED]Surprised

And yet he thought it just dandy

Now if you'll excuse me, I see a monkey trying to replace his ribbon with a banana (Bobo, bad monkey).

Thought you were made from putty?

Whoa, wait a minute... You've been crocheted!

TheGrobe

No, we already established that he's a piroszhki.

With a macrame-expression.

I think I figured out the root of Andy's posts:

1. His avatar is a muppet.

2. They all talk very funny.

3. Consider the way you make a hand puppet talk: If you had a hand up your butt all day, you would probably say some funny sounding things as well.

Also, if it is Andy's hand, now we know he is typing one-handed, which would explain why his posts are infrequent and very brief typically.

Just an observation.

Some of my best memories of chess is from a chess club in the town i used to live in (Sarasota,Florida). There were some characters but after you went there awhile you got to know the quirks that some of the players had and you would laugh about them. I remember a nice older gentleman who when he thought he had you would say "your goose is cooked, your goose is cooked" he was usually right but it was fun trying to prove him wrong. The club did not have uscf sanction events which i think may have made it a more relaxed place to play.

We have a similar place in Portland SRB

You seem unusually obsessed with Andy.

Some people miss their ''teddy-bears'' from childhood.

That probably explains it.

Whilst playing a game of chess

A rhyme popped-up in the text

The author was Brazilian

Essay-writing his dominion

He swore blind it wasn't in jest.

Only in limericks...
