Chess for Oldtimers --- Good Idea!

Not sure if this is just a joke-post, but the OP made a very astute statement and you are absolutely right on! "If you are young and smart, most likely you will grow old and be smart as well". Like barring any brain accidents or using mind altering substances along the way, that would change this from following its course. When I was younger I played at a level that today (and older) would be able to defeat that younger person. One reason is that younger person was working and alot more responsibilitys going on to spend much time studying chess. And that goes to all aspects of life, if when you were young a very negative person, and as you grow old, you would think one would mild out, unfortunately only in Christmas movies does that happen lololo

Hey, I resent that crack about mind-altering substances! I for one...damn, what's this keyboard doing here?

Goodby my friend, that was a good post! The military was my family, but is nice to be a civilian again, and grow old and wonder how I was able to do it?? lolo "Peace by strength"

I am through arguing with idiots.
How can you even come to these forums with an attitude like that?
And I must say I find it vastly amusing to see 2 threads with the same title in that whatzit on the right...so much so that I may even post in them alternately just to keep that going.
