Chess for Oldtimers --- Good Idea !
Thanks for posting the picture here Chubbychocobo, a bit of humor is a good thing lol. Mind you someone has now stolen the photo for another thread ( shocking but true ). And someone also stole the title of this thread as well for their thread, a crime-wave at Chess.com lol.

Hey cabadenwurt no need to say sorry, you can come on the Haywood thread anytime to give e4nf3 crap.

I'm really confused now...this e4nf3 character joined this chess site last November & has not yet played a single game? WTF is wrong with this picture?

not sure what that was all about - life's too short to hold a grudge ...
Love this! Am almost 69, so "life's too short to hold a grudge" has been my motto for quite a few years.
Dear chubbychocobo, May I request the use of your first line above on my tombstone? I can see it now:
Sandra P. Hutton
April 4, 1943 - ____ __, 20__
"not sure what that was all about...."
Well I double-checked earlier and there have been 9,272 visitors to this thread and 165 comments have been posted here. It is very nice of people to visit and/or leave a comment. There have been a lot of nice positive comments here so one can hope that things will carry on in that vein.

I finally found what I would like on my tombstone:
"THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU
AND NOW
ON WITH THE MOTLEY,
WHATEVER THAT MEANS."
(This was from the program for Jeremy Brett's [the ultimate Sherlock Holmes] memorial service, Nov 1995.)

My favorite is what comedienne Margaret Smith said was on her dad's tombstone:
"What're you looking at?"
Thanks for all of the posts everyone, very nice and yet odd somehow. I think I could go with:
R . I . P
Poor Fellow Spent Most Of His Life Up S---Ceek Without A Paddle But He Has It Made Now LOL !!!

Okay, this is shaping up to be one of the goofiest feuds we've seen around here (and believe me, that's not company you'd particularly want to keep).
