Chess for Oldtimers --- Good Idea !
Well the " Clown " who was trolling this thread seems to have gone away ( or perhaps got the old Heave-Ho ? ) so perhaps I can restart this old thing again. Mind you as soon as one moron leaves another moron is likely to show up, time will tell I guess.

i'm still here.
AlCzervik: You know I was not talking about you as I had to restart several older threads due to a troll invasion. The troll and his posts have all disappeared and things seem to have settled down again ( for now ).

Seems like when an online troll asks you 3 questions, it's best to just ignore him. Hard to do sometimes, when you're sure you know the answers to his dopey questions ... that's how they get you!

But, Mil, you should know it's not the disguising of the trolls that will get you, it's the uprising of the proles.

Chess for old timers: good idea?
yes🤓!
It keeps my daughter, and my dad occupied for an hour or more ...instead of bickering over the tv remote.

--- Thanks for the advice Motherinlaw, it is hard to tolerate those goofy trolls. Mind you many of them don't last too long at this site, if we are lucky lol.
One song that fits into this thread ( I may have mentioned before lol ) is a sad number done by Roy Clark. Many of us remember Roy Clark from the old " Hee Haw " TV show where we saw a lot of funny skits. However Roy Clark also put out a very serious song entitled " Yesterday When I Was Young ", as the years go by I understand the song more and more ( available over on YouTube of course ).

Believe it or not, Ralph, I owned a Roy Clark LP with Yesterday When I Was Young as one of the tracks. I think it was a "best of" album. Mr. Clark also played one mean Malaguena on another track, something you would not expect from "He's a pickin' and I'm a grinnin'" Roy.
I guess you can find just about anything on YouTube, such as Roy playing Malaguena.
AlCzervik: That is a very nice item that you posted, I had not come across Baz Luhrmann before, very interesting.
