let's hope for a shanking
chess in prison - where I am going

He was convicted by a hung jury And now he's gonna be hung by a convicted jury
A jury of his peers - that's right - us!
I confirm that I read this exact posting a while back too!
I forget but I swear I've seen this exact thread before. It got a number of responces too!
You're not crazy. I remember someone made a thread like this.
I remember it too. As a matter of fact, he said the exact same thing about the warden letting him have a chess set, chess books, etc. Is this Groundhog Day????
I remember it too. Maybe he's stuck in a time-loop?
I also remember the thread.

Aww, the Wayback machine only has the first page.
And the last(?):

Forget the time loop. Ever heard of "repeat felon"?

He started this thread 26 hrs ago, and said, He'll get sentenced tomorrow. In post 22, he said, he starts his 1st day of re-creational activities. He's so full of shit. Try to get the time line correct will ya MORON!

Not that I plan on going to prison anytime soon, but on the TV in the background they play it all the time. With the free time you'll have on your hands, you'll probably come out better than any of us here in the next ten or so.
All the best.

Tomorrow, I will start my first recreational activities during the normal time slot. In the courtyard, I will approach some of the inmates and challenge for games of chess. I will also look into organized tourneys. Today I just spent time with my chessboard and a few books that was given to me.
Wish me luck.
Be careful. If you lose, your opponant may demand money. If you can't pay, things may go rough for you. Don't expect fair play,or justice.Trust nobody. Good luck.
I am in my prison cell, I can't sleep. Today is going to be a long day. Breakfast at this prison starts at 7. I wonder what will be served since this is my first full day in this place.
