How well do the Chess.com ratings translate into OTB tourneys? I mean if your live rating is 1100 how will you do in a 1000-1250 OTB tourney? Or if your CC Chess rating is 1300 how will you do in a 1250-1500 OTB tourney?

Please note that your said OTB and Live chess games are two different games and guided by individual standard. One will not overlap the other!!

These are two different games and no overlaping or interconnection with the others rating !!

Well, its a norm or standard upon which number the Rating is based. Reading of Eriks formula is recommended for better grasp of the study !! It can be found in the Read column of Chess.com

I am not in the Vote chess! Vote chess game is a creation of chess.com staff!! and Bishop vs Knight is an intelligent presentation.
your rating doesnt really matter. just try to play the game and not think to much about your rating. if you care too much then when you lose a couple times you get frustrated and thats how you get on a losing streak

Hi, I appriciate that!! To reach at a good Rating standard one need to play more and get knowing tactics.
i have made 2 teams whitin 3 teams a 3rd ,2nd and 1st, teams look in my blog !
why are there unrated games?
There are multiple reasons
- when a 2000 player plays a 1000 the rating loss in the case of a disconnect (or other loss) would be enourmous. The high rated player would have everything to lose and nothing to gain. Unrated games make higher rated players more apt to take on lower rateds, such as in coaching games.
- a player may want to try out a specific opening or time control, without this influencing their "serious" record
- a player may want to take advantages of features (colour selection in live chess, takeback moves in CC) that are only availiable for unrated games
