Manfredmann, anyone who solves the puzzle is blinded by the light.
Chess rating system

How are average ratings computed for the various Chess.com categories of play? Do players ever become 'inactive' with their ratings no longer included?

This is possible, but for the sake of argument consider a couple of things:
1) there is also a category of player, let's call them ... kids ... who start at 1200, dip below that, but then improve over time end up over 1200
2) there is yet another category of player, let's call them ... disgruntled USCF vampire suckers ... who are rated way over 1200 USCF but have to start here at 1200. What happens? They suck points out of everybody else which is deflationary.
So, it's just a question, but does anyone know (site admin has the raw data, of course) whether the effect of the "quitters under 1200" is more or less than the effect of "kids" and "USCF vampire suckers?"
Sincere apologies in advance to all actual vampires.
This is very true. I have a rating of 1350 but met a 1200 the other day that completely DEMOLISHED me in a 3 min blitz game. His rating went up to 1400 and a few hours later he was on like 1800+

The same principle goes for Tactical Training. If you start as unrated and solve, let's say 5 problems in a row, your rating goes all the up to about 1600-1700. However, if you miss one or two, it drops down as fast as it rose up.
I started as unrated a week ago when I registered and won 5 games in a row. My ratings went "crazy" and got me to a wooping 1712, which in reality does not reflect my real chess expertise.
The problem was that I wanted to get on a tourney but was unwilling to go to the 1600-1800 category because I knew I would be "killed", so I resigned on purpose the following 2 friendly games (Let's play) in a row and my ratings dropped 200 points.
I will never do this again of course, but I had no choice. My rating is now in the 1500's which, in my opinion I feel much more comfortable than having to play higher rated opponents.
Now, I am about to play in a 1400-1600 tourney which (hopefully) will help me to qualify for the second round.

my rating is 1622 how i can reach 2200 resently i have read chess school 4,chess school 3. devoretsky endgame mannual hans kimoch pawn power in chess d4 vol 1,vol 2, gm repotire 6 and may be arise 100 rating wat i shoud to do, i read opning in morning 2 hours ,middelgame in afternoon2 hours, endgame in knight 2 hours

Succintly, I think you need to learn how to think differently. All those things you are doing are OK, but if you don't develop your "vision" and see the board from a correct analytical point of view, and understand chess from a positional level, it is most likely you will never arrive at your goal.
I'm not therer either but I have in my hands a book called, "How to Reasses Your Chess" by Jeremy Silman. Along with that continue to practice calculations every day and pray up a storm to get there.
My goal is to become "an expert", no more... because after that I'll be entering into another level of more difficult chess which could drive anyone nuts before the rooster crows three times...

Water always rises to its level. I use to play in OTB tournaments and I hoped one day to become an IM etc, but the reality is my rating never got higher then 1929. In reality I had to accept that at best I was a 1900 player.
I have idenitified some flaws in my game, that I addressed it might have got me a little higher, but to

Predator At The ChessBoard by Ward Farnsworth is a good book for beginners, but if your rating is 1000+. Then i'd say The Complete Book Of Chess Strategy by J.Silman is the book you looking for!
manfredmann, So if solve the puzzle alittle faster I think it would only be right if I got a pawn.
