chess vs. checkers

I play both and they are both games require a lifetime to conquer and learn and I would never say one is simpler than the other and I know many people who play both and they respect both games and say the same as I do.  Many actually say checkers is more difficult.  But I think they are different.   Require different thinking.  

And regardless of what I say people who’ve never really played checkers and usually chess players will never believe me.  It is a view of ignorance from someone who doesn’t understand the game.  

Many can’t even believe their are books on checkers.  Of course there is.  Many many of them.  I have a stack of checker books.   

And I do chess and checker tactics most days or at least a few times a week.  They are both great games.
