I have just produced a documentary on ChessBoxing - the Hot New Sport (Amazon), and, not knowing much about Chess, I was intrigued by how difficult it is to hold one's concentration. Thinking about your next chess move is difficult enough over a chess board, but when you have also just been through three minutes of boxing, and face even more, it seems to take extraordinary mental skills to stay focused. I can't claim that the standard of chess of extremely high, but it is a different way of looking at the human discipline required.
