Chess.com Rating vs. Real-Life rating?

Hello all! :)

I was just wondering about the differences between Chess.com ratings and standard FIDE ratings. I'm a newer member to the site, but have noticed a huge inflation ratings on this website. I have a few friends and myself who are rated 50-100 points higher on this website than real life.

For instance; I'm rated 2020-something on this website (I play Blitz, because I honestly cannot take 3 day games, as I have a busy life as a accountant), but am rated only 1858 in real life. My friend AweLagato is almost 1900 on this website but is actually only about 1800ish in real life, and is an equal player to myself.

Does anyone else notice this inflation of skill? How do you guys think Chess.com can alleviate this problem and give us more accurate, reasonable ratings?

DERP! I just noticed the huge "Chess rating system" post above. DERPY DERP DERP.

I dunno. For me, the 2d Board just looks completely analytical. There's no tilted lighting, no anything, just a simple board that looks and plays like a huge puzzle. I, for one, enjoy it better.
