Chesscom's new Game review, what the heck happened?

Is there a way to enable the old game review mode in android?
It was more intuitive and better to digest the feedback and great to jump in between moments of the match.
The only thing that I like about the new review mode is that you can setup the deepness of the analysis

Please add a toggle button to allow user to switch between modes

No. If you have the new version you can't get the previous one.

Just wanted to add that I really don't like the new analysis either...

Many of us had it changed back by a kind employee who posted earlier in this thread.

Only rolled out for some.

This new game review surprises me. How can anyone think it's better than the previous one, which was amazing? The new game feels like it's made for kids 10 and under. One of the main reasons I subscribed for a year was the game review, but now I'm looking into getting a refund for the rest of the year.

Yes I was looking to complain the new one is awful. Surely you need to enquire into the competency of people who recommend and waste money on these unnecessary changes. Incredible.

The old review was better. In new review pieces moves too fast.

You can step through move by move instead of hitting the next key move option.

You can also set the delay between moves in the Review settings.

Where I can find this delay time setting on Android? I didn't see it.

In my opinion some few features in this new review are good. The review briefing at the beginning is a good idea. But those fast moves aren't. Let's see if we can set our preferred speed.

Also, I think give the coach more visibility is a good idea.

SO WHAT DO YOU THINK?

I would say the New Game Review is trash compared to Old Game Review.

I think the Old Game Review had style, personalization, and I think the AI’s coach comment added a nice tough of class & eloquence to the review.

You can call me a crybaby if you want too, but at least say it correctly!

I’M CRYBABY WITH STYLE!

I don't see much of a difference. Not a big enough difference to cry over.

A lot of people would disagree with you.

You scroll down to click next, something happens on board that you can't see, then you scroll back up to view the board's new position, when using phone or tablet. Obviously designed to be user friendly exclusively for computer users.

The new UI is absolutely horrible and clearly not tested on users. The old UI was much more compact, and a great overview to interact with.

I really hope we can at least choose to get the old UI game review back..

There is another thing I did not like.

Before all moves are marked with an icon, now only key moves are marked.

For me was interesting see a review for overall sight. Even only key moves stops for moves for detailed review, it was possible to notice one or another move that was interesting for us to go back and review again.

On mobile web you should have the navigation bar so you shouldn't need to scroll to navigate.

You can change that in the Analysis settings by changing Move Strength Coloring to All Moves

Senior-Lazarus_Long

Yes but of course you can't see the board while navigating. It used to be nice to see where your driving.

Senior-Lazarus_Long

But scroll down then scroll back up 20 times a review might be preferred.
