You are so predictable.

And you wrote it wrong in the simplified script.

象can means minister but相cant means elephant

this word can have different meanings

looks like imagine or elephant

What does imagine look like?

What is it a picture of? 象.

What is this a glyph of?

It is not a glyph of

car, automobile, vehicle, castle, rook, etc . . .

It is a glyph of a chariot. 2 wheels, an axle, and a box.

It is a picture of a chariot. (minus the horses).

Traditional Chinese is hard to read,id like simplified Chinese。

and chinese isnot Hieroglyphical and cant be splicing now。

“ 一”can means“one”but here is only a strokes of a Chinese character。

Do you see why I prefer traditional script?

Avatar of long_quach

Now if I want to say "chariot" correctly. I can write.

車二馬馬馬

a "carriage" and 3 horses, like the Wells Fargo logo.

Avatar of CuteCirnoBaka

retail??wholesick??......no,师 means teacher master and even teach in ancient

帅means handsome,commander etc.

and“一”is absolutely a strokes of a Chinese character

Other people call it

logograph

iconograph

I just call it "glyph" because of the movie Blade.

Retail. Wholesale.

One refers to master of a few, one refers to master of many, like an army.

Country. What country are you from?

I'm a citizen of the country of America. No.

A citizen is a denizen of a city.

It would be countryman.

Country connotes agrarian. Country Music.

United States. State is law, as in statute. Laws make a nation.

Oops. Nation means birth. Pre-natal, pre-birth. Birth of a Nation, means birth of birth, doesn't make sense.

Motherland is different from Fatherland.

Kingdom, the King dominates.

It's all different at the root meaning of words.

Fatherland.

My country, ’tis of thee,

Sweet land of liberty,

Of thee I sing;

Land where my fathers died,

Land of the pilgrims’ pride,

From ev’ry mountainside

Let freedom ring!

I don't hear the word Motherland in the song.
