Tried to improve from 850 (ish) Elo via the usual advice given on here. Study, watch videos, books blah blah blah etc.. I watched a YouTube vid on tactics and CCA by someone and it’s totally ruined my game. By trying to utilise the advice given my Elo has dropped like a stone.. Currently below 700 again and I can’t seem to stop the rot. Wish I’d never tried to improve. It’s had the opposite effect. My advice is be careful who you take advice from. It’s not always good for your game.. 🫤
