Condolences
May our thoughts be with those involved.

Multipal assault rifles (some modified); with high capacity mags-that alone begs for change, and no more reasons, allowances or excuses.
Family, and friends are the ones that will continue to relive and bear the brunt of this long after the news coverage has simmered down.

There seem to be more and more disturbed individuals willing to kill both themselves and innocent folks who have not affected their lives a jot these days. Sad times.

One problem is you never see the news reporting on instances where guns save lives. However tragic this shooting is you have to also see the bigger picture. Banks, ministers, cash in transit and everything else deemed important are protected by guns, surely you and your family are important enough to be protected too. And let's not forget it was regular citizens with guns that beat the crap out of the so called mighty British Empire to buy our freedom in the first place.

I believe in places like Britian that is essentially a puny island three times smaller than Texas this approach can work. Everybody is basically manageable and so devoid of freedom that they don't even want to protect themselves. They are happy to try run away or just scream. The US is another story.

And good for you but during those nine years a lot of people in LA and NY and hunderds of other places in the US did need a gun and are alive today because of it.

Employee Hygiene
According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), food service workers are required to maintain high levels of personal hygiene to protect themselves from illness and prevent food contamination. Practices such as hand-washing after and before handling food and kitchen equipment is encouraged. Employees should also be trained on health and personal hygiene, food-borne illnesses, how to diagnose symptoms and procedures for reporting illnesses in time to avoid contagion and contamination.
Employer Responsibilities
According to the OSHA, employers are responsible for providing safe working conditions for their employees. This entails creating internal policies that adhere to federal and state laws in the mitigation of kitchen hazards such as slips, falls and burns. Employers also are responsible for providing gloves, uniforms and any personal protective equipment required for the food service worker to carry out his work safely.

I believe if individuals adhere to these FDA rules in a private capacity as well as at work a lot of these gun misunderstandings will simply go away.
So sorry to see this further barbaric act by gunmen in America.
