Correspondence Tournament Problem

I joined a tournament about a year ago and unknowingly advanced to the next round. That round just started about a day ago but I don't want to play. I would withdraw but it says I would resign all of my games and I don't want to lose all those rating points. I haven't made any moves yet. Would resigning or timing out before moving prevent me from losing rating points?

It's a tourney. Any loss will result in losing rating if it is a rated event.

I know that, but I remember sometimes it aborts the game if no moves were made. Does that still apply in tournaments?

Timeouts in tourneys are rated as losses, even on timeouts; at least as far as I'm aware that is the case.
