daily puzzles are a joke
Sort:
there is no rhyme or reason to most of the puzzles and they hinge on your opponent making incredibly stupid moves.

If you think the opponent's move was stupid in a puzzle, you likely didn't understand the threat.
Usually something like the "obvious" capture leads to immediate mate so they can't do that.
If they accept a sacrifice that you think is stupid to accept, mate was probably being threatened so there was no choice.
