The higher the search depth, the stronger the engine will play.
It is how many moves ahead the engine is looking.

Hi, I have a problem. I'm a begginer in chess and I have Deep Fritz simulator on my PC. But, I wanna know how it works with the levels, when select "Search depth". I mean if i give it 50 to this option, what's happening? Is it higher or is it lower ? Please, tell me.
