Depressing difficult puzzles how to deal?

It's odd but I find it more depressing when I can't solve a puzzle than when I lose a game like for example when solving a really difficult puzzle I can get ragingly upset after minutes of still not finding "the move" I guess it's because i know there is a right answer and even if the puzzle is advanced and it's normal not finding the answer I still feel completely dumb and I'm so stubborn that I refuse to look at the answer unless it can't be helped (checking to see if my move was right ) what are some ways you guys handle that stress if you have it ?

If it's a tough puzzle, then try to think of the 'dumbest' or 'quietest' move first. Hey, you might be surprised.

I usually think there's a sac/quiet move in the first place and I usually get the first/second move right from that it's the follow-up where the headaches come in
