Where does he say this? Nagarjuna talks of dependent origination - yes. But dependently originated from love? I would be interested to see the Sutra ref please.

"Just as the super natural power of the Teacher / Just as the super natural power of the Tathagata" (Madh17-28-29, ReplytoCrit23?27?) fabricates a magical being who fabricates another magical being / the action that is done by the magical being is also magical"

This supernatural power is what I'm calling Love instead of "the teacher"

In other words all actions or rather everything (madh2) is driven by Love (or what Kant calls Freedom)

reply to post 27. Mmm so you are bastardising Nagarjuna and replacing 'what you think' appropiate? Nagarjuna was 'anti-foundational' in his philosophy. Are you at all familar with his works? You are completlely misrepresenting and misquoting. You have somehow managed to collapse dependant origination and love into a single sentence and come out with your own philosophy. Your original statement Nagarjuna says everything is dependently originated from Love

is entirely your own? Is it not?

Calm down please!

No it is not my philosophy. It says "everything is dependently originated" from what? Well from this "Teacher" or "Tathagata" or whatever this super natural power is. I'm just making it more intuitive by calling the "Teacher" "Love" thats all!

It is people like you why Nagarjuna was "reluctant to teach" his philosophy if it is "misunderstood, like a serpent wrongly grasped"!!

So it's Kant's song and Plato's too!

There's no secret to philosophy; they're all talking about Love

That is what I thought - you have confirmed my theory - you have misrepresented the teaching and relied on your own intuitive misunderstanding. Therefore logic would say - you are WRONG - as you have said above.  At least where Nagarjuna is concerned. Dependant Origination is a very profound teaching. Good luck with your post.

Actually as Nagarjuna says he is not arguing against the logician but rather "making known" his theory.

What I meant by you are grasping the serpent wrongly is that you must understand that dependent origination is itself empty.

Is that not what you think?

I also don't understand what you mean by logic would say I am wrong - what did I say

I would also recommend you to take a look at Sextus's works, as the two theories are strikingly similar
