The other player wants more time, or is losing, so THEY disconnect intentionally... chess.com gives that player the time back to "make up" for their loss of connection, and sometimes it even counts against your time!
Chess.com is trying to "play fair" with players whose connection is interrupted thru no fault of their own, but what they are really doing is creating a loophole which many unethical players are using to cheat.
I am very surprised to see that while I play, does the connection with chess.com suddenly interrupt. But not for both players, only for me! I don't understand why. And the time goes on. only for me.
So it happens, that after some minutes, when the reconnection returns, I discover ..that I have LOSED tha game, while some minutes ago I was WINNING it, as it has happened now, with my last game.
I think that when there are such problems (and it happens rather frequently) the game should be interrupted for both players.
Anyway I am not satisfied at all for this result. Sorry, but if it does repeat, I will leave chess. com
