Maybe the lord hasn't disconnected. Maybe the times you only see one set of moves, that's when he's carrying youLaughing

I'm sick of not being able to submit. Maybe it has something to do with the reception here being REALLY BAD. I don't even know if this is gonna work.. maybe yet again the submit button will 'freeze' and this post, along with countless others, will be lost.. gone.. forever... or at least until I try again. AGAIN.

I suggest copying your post to the clipboard before hitting the 'submit' button, just in case it doesn't go through or in case you time-out on a long post.  That way you can try again by just pasteing your post over.

I've noticed that this problem is associated with the spellchecker; always make sure that you turn the spellchecker off before pressing submit - that stopped it from happening to me.

We have something in live chess now that should hopefully discourage members from disconnecting on purpose or making their opponents wait in a game

Fair Play

Greetings,

I apologize for naming a user. Usually I don't like to point a finger, but just to point out what I think is a problem or minor irritation.

So, KCO, you're right on this one.

And my previous comment was deleted because I fat fingered this very message and then there were two identical messages?? I deleted one which deleted both of the messages... so this one is # 3...

cheers, eddie

PS: I probably  wasn't sober when I started this rant  but that is another story

Great addition!

Now, I don't want to begin another long discussion on this topic, but I have a question regarding the second section of this policy (stalling): would "stalling" simply consist of not moving until your time runs out or would it also consist of 'taking too long to move' (a concern for many players here, myself not included). And if this is considered 'stalling', how would we be able to prevent players from marking us as 'unfair players' if we happen to make some very long moves, especially in long games?

I have had no less than 3 disconnects on live chess today... I think it was four but I wasn't really counting... And I am just a "patzer"
