Do Drinks help in Chess?

lol..

When I come home from work, first thing I do is empty a Heineken.

At diner I drink 2 more. When I'm cooking I allow myself to take an extra one. And when doing dishes I drink one to make up for the boring job.

So that makes 4 on a regular day.

Then in the evening (at dutch coffee time) I take a Jack Daniel's, and right before I go to bed just one more to have a good nights sleep.

In the weekends I don't really count (no point)

And even I am not addicted. So, no, alcohol is not highly addictive, because I could last at least 3 days without a drink if I really had to..

(And it makes me play chess a lot better)

I'm having a single glass of red wine before bed as I read this thread. Doesn't seem to affect my health too much. Robbie, wish you many a pleasant glass of Scots Holy Water. (Do you like Brew Dog? I wouldn't quite call it a religious revelation, but when I discovered their pale ale, it was almost that)

haha i make better beer at home than brewdog! but yeah, their stuff is pretty good.  Drinking a home made Kolsch at the moment, its delightful! nom nom nom!
