So I know TB's don't get paid for posting blogs, but do they for things like BOTM?

Just wondering.

I'm not a Top Blogger, so I don't know. I haven't heard anything about an Amazon gift card, or anything like that.

The way I understand it is that Top Bloggers just get more benefits for more people able to see their blogs on chess.com; if a Top Blogger is just a "normal" chess.com member, then I don't think they make any money from it. Similarly, chess.com Moderators (blue pawn icon) are not paid money; it is only chess.com Staff (green pawn icon) which are paid a salary from chess.com. If a Top Blogger was also a Staff member, then I don't know if that would earn them any "extra" money or not (but I kind of doubt it).

This is just how I understood it, but I'm not a Top Blogger, so I really don't know for certain. A few people told me I should be a Top Blogger and I considered applying, but I didn't because I felt that I wouldn't post regularly enough for that Top Blogger title. In my 6+ years on chess.com, I've only posted around 20 blog posts so far; I think Top Bloggers are supposed to post a bit more regularly.
