do we know when we should offer a draw?

a Draw is a way to say that we both agree that we will not lose or win we will simply walk away. But do we know if we should offer a draw we first need to understand the opponent and where his or her weaknesses are and we need to understand that a draw can result in a win or loose for you depending on who you are playing.

1. Where are the mistakes made by your opponent?

If you are rated very low like me there is about a 78% chance that you are messing everything up in your Endgame. That is what you want to look for first the think is that you can't just fast forward in time to see the Endgame of your adversary, but you can look at their opening. Usually a person who errors in their Endgame has a good opening and a pretty solid defense but in  the mid game they will stumble a but but then find a really good play and make it work and that is when you usually Resign or offer a Draw. But what you don't know about your rival is that if you got to the End Game you could probably win (and take that from a professional person who always loses in the End Game (me) but i watch a lot of GM games so I know that I mess up in the End Game).

2. Will we win or lose if we draw?

This is a pretty easy question that I come across a lot so I decided to answer the question after I found the answer. If you are playing on a laptop or a computer all you need to do is look in the small information box at the bottom right corner and look to see if you lose or gain points if you draw. If you gain points and you do this so much you can get banned so I suggest not drawing just to get more points.

3. How to make a draw possible when you need to

I use this tactic a lot when I know I will lose so I want to draw. Usually this happens when I see a potentially dangerous moves that will ensure my rival a Checkmate to avoid this you will want to put them in a position where it seems threatning but is really not.

Example:

The ideal move for white in the beginning was to take the rook with the bishop but if there is little time left and you confuse your opponent enough that might work you offer a draw and make the move and maybe offer a draw again.
