yes.
Do you?
Nope, playing chess makes me better.
But i have only one problem... i am training myself with chess software... what if chess.com thinks i am a software LOL.. that is why i dont play live chess to that extent....
No. I feel like I'm gradually getting better regardless of what the ratings say. Because ratings go up and down all the time. Right now I'm pretty much at the peak of my all time ratings, but I feel like I can still become much better. At some point my ratings will go down (it's unavoidable), but if I just keep practicing, fixing my mistakes and increasing my understanding, the ratings will eventually follow.
I'm sure they will for you too, just keep going at it!
sometimes, when one works harder on their game intentionally, their expectations outpace their improvement which is understandable, past the beginner stage. Chess improvement takes time, doing tactics, and reading books and playing more wont make you shoot up 100 points in a month unless you are really weak.
this creates weaker play in the short term ironically enough. Because you think you should be playing better, you might overestimate your capacity in certain positions or prematurely make an evaluation.
Do you have the feeling that your playing chess, doing tactics, reading books but seem to be getting worse? :
