Do you listen to music while playing online?

Music is distracting when youre trying to concentrate.
"multi-tasking" is a lie that people like to believe because it makes them appear more productive.

I do, but whenever there are huge complications and I need to calculate a bit I pause it. It's a distraction, but there's never too much of good music.

only during blitz, it has to be fast and heavy to make me play quicker either slayer or lamb of god

Very nice. Some Chopin is always good to listen to, especially when sitting down at a chess board.

Actually, the waltzes are very good. I like Chopin because his music just sounds better to me than those of other composers. For example, I never really "clicked" with beethoven.

Yes, Chopin's music flows smoothly. I first started listening to his stuff because of Tony MacAlpine.
He includes a track of Chopin on most of this studio albums, Chopin is one of his musical heroes. I got hooked on Chopin while listening to metal.
It is at 27:25 on that video. That is MacAlpine playing it (Chopin, Prelude 16, Opus 28).
I also listen to Vivaldi and Tchaikovsky while playing/studying.

Listening to classical music when playing chess is so cliche. You don't even like that music, you only listen to it as you think you should. Let me educate you on real music
No, I like classical music. I also enjoy drinking single malt scotch when playing for fun. Is that "cliche" also or are you going to try and tell me I don't like single malt scotch?
(BTW, any music I listen to - and I have very wide ranging tastes - is better than that stuff you posted.)
I listen to John Williams' "The Mission" - better known as the NBC news theme. Helps me channel my inner Brokaw.
