Do you prefer playing online or over-the-board chess, and why?

Hello, is there difference between OTB and Online Chess ?

I like OTB cus uhh

online chess is better because you can see all possible moves which makes it is easier to find a better move and you can focus better on your time.......I don't think there is a big difference between OTB and online chess

Over the board chess is more real, but online chess is more convenient.

Yup!... The more diverse the opponent the better!... But it is more fun to play over the board because we can talk to your opponent while playing (especially your friends).

I don't want to spend the amount of a yearly diamond membership for one tournament since i have no friends connection to chit chat after match. I will be cursing myself every single time during that moment.

Over-the-board, though I find it hard to find good opponents. I am looking around for chess clubs in my area. Most of my games are online at the moment.

Not in my own experience. Most casual players I take on over the board are not difficult to defeat, few know chess notation or really study the game, though I met more serious opposition in chess clubs but that was pre-Internet. Online I have encountered some quite formidable players.

OTB and online chess will feel somewhat the same for you If you're very low rated. Once you get over 1600, you will notice a difference between the two. OTB is a bit more difficult. I prefer online tho for its convenience.
