I agree that the streaming will interfere with his GM studies and prep.
I think he'd have to stop streaming for a full year, maybe 2, to just focus on getting the GM title. I think he's likely got enough money to pause his income while he studies and plays tournaments. But I'm thinking he'll never give up the streaming. He's gotta pick one or the other, not forever, but for at least 1 year.
In the tournament in Italy recently that he played in, he was doing video related stuff at midnight (he said) and he had a game early the next morning.

he might get the norms but i don't think he's good enough to get to 2500.
Even as an IM - one step below GM - the odds are stacked against him. He seems to be sliding down toward 2300 the more he plays OTB - going in the wrong direction ...
Which just goes to show how strong OTB players are these days. Even with all the knowledge Levy has, it's hard for him to compete ...
