Chess and tennis both end with an s. I noticed that bowling also ends with an s if you add an s to the end of it.

At a chess club I once belonged to the strongest player was sometimes unavailable for chess matches because they clashed with a crown green bowling match in which he was playing.

Say somebody organises a bowling competition and offers chess sets as prizes. would that work ? or would it deter people from entering the competition ?

I went to a chess tournament once and for prize support we had our choice of balls to play with.

does anyone else experience this ? anytime Conquistador or ilikeflags posts it just totally cracks me up.
