Does anyone else get tired of ppl always trying to checkmate you with a queen and bishop at the star

Lol. I think I have a daily game where that is currently being tried. I had one guy in a correspondence game on another site resign after it failed.

That is hope chess and won't offer anything to white. As you get better, and you play better players, you will rarely see such things.  Now even if that opening is not good, you might still lose because at beginners level, you are still lacking the tactical and strategical ability to win a game from such position consistently. 

If  i am you I will just concentrate at improving my game and I won't allow such things to bother me. You can improve by watching videos and reading books appropriate for you.

Generally speaking, openings like this will have a distinct drawback which you can exploit once you neutralize the threat. The trick is to defend without committing any weakening moves, and to keep a cool head.
