Does chess.com investigate reports of cheating?

chess.com doesn't like to reveal their methods because then cheaters could try to avoid and delude them. Also yeah chess.com does check games of a player to see if they are cheating, obviously.

Yeah I guess my question is more specifically when I hit the report button what happens? It seems like they don't read them...

Like @redscale mentioned, we don't know the process because indeed it is meant not to be known.
However, this is a Q&A video with Danny and Gerard where they try to answer some questions and bring some insight and data on cheating detection in general.
It's been not even a month since it was released, so it's pretty recent and certainly up to date.
I know that the obvious answer is yes and people have asked many similar questions to this. However, I'd like to know about the process as of this year and how it is handled. For example, with so many users now are they able to actually look into all the reports for fair play violations? Considering they probably get over a thousand per day it seems unlikely they can practically evaluate all instances of cheating. Is there some threshold number of reports they wait for before investigating the user. I often find after reporting someone nothing happens. Also, I don't just go reporting people because I'm mad and I lost only crystal clear cheaters (guys who's rating is up 600 in 30 days, has constant move time, most of games played flawless with centi-pawn loss < 10 as a 1200 rated player). Are these reports evaluated or falling on deaf ears?
