Its really just an obviously stupid statement.
People take what Musk says far too seriously because he's the richest person on the planet.
Well also because he's making a lot more sense and has a lot more Charisma than many of his peers.

If the topic is Musk I have no comment. Chess is like anything else, peaks and valleys. If you think it is simple start memorizing lines and playing better players until it is tough or you become a master. That's simple but also easier said than done.
Or you can EVEN be happy with current rating and keep playing similarly rated players and improver at a snails pace. Whatever you wanna do.
When someone says something that makes sense, there is always going to be a certain segment of the population that gets very upset with that.

Today it's just the opposite. Although it's usually the younger generation that identifies grandma as he and him, still, they don't just sit and read a book and ignore what's around them. Instead they get very offended, very easily. Probably because they are easily distracted.
