Does GPA have an effect on your chess Elo?

I’m doing a little bit of an experiment. Send your chess rating in with your current GPA in school or college. I will do the rest and I will post the results after this is over.

My Elo is 445 and my GPA is 91.35

I’m always top in school without even trying (2000 Elo)

I’m actually in a select entry school

I suspect little correlation between GPA & chess rating but it is an interesting question. Also, I too think GPA goes from 0 to 4.

I don't think so. Due to the different challenges of school and chess, one may be very good in chess and terrible in GPA, or vica versa.

I thought max is 4.0

I think 91.35 is out of 100.

GPA doesn't give you a higher elo, but typically people with a good GPA will have a better elo. Same cause, but they're both effects.
