Personally, I don't put much faith in Alexa. Their web page states that the metrics are only estimates, not actual values. Also, they only get their metrics from people who have installed their toolbar. I never install any type of toolbar which means they have no data at all for my visits. I would guess the majority of people visiting this site also don't have the Alexa toolbar which means their metrics aren't very accurate at all.
