Does listening to music while playing chess reduce your Concentration?

If you play Chess, do you listen to music?
And if you do, do you think it reduces your Concentration while playing Chess?
I personally do because I get bored without music but does that make me worse at playing chess?
And do you think its bad at a certain level?
late reply but i figured out what is it for me, listening to loud hyped music, eg. hip hop rap hardstyle etc. makes me play worse, listening to lofi beats or classical makes me play the same as i would playing without music, so the point is just dont make it too distracting if you care about your chess elo, but its tough playing without music tbh, adhd brain
