@blitz2009, that hurts. But I didn't intend to attack his queen :-) I was trying to gain initiative by sacrificing a piece, but it was juicier than that at the end.

I play the Alekhine pretty regularly. Every day, at least one person premoves Nf3 after e4 and I say "thank you for the pawn."

Wow, that was obviously unintentional.
This is something which we do not get to see everyday! On a more serious note, I pity the opponent for not anticipating the sacrifice. He must have thought of an ordinary developing, non-sacrificial move.
