Double sound effects. How do I get rid of them?

When I play chess on the laptop I get double sound effects for every move, but I hate playing without the sound effect. I tried turning them on and off again and deleted cache but they're persistent since 2 days.

Works fine in incognito mode.

Do you by chance have more than one tab open to the site when that happens?

No, just the one tab.

Already disabled sound, saved it, and then enabled it again. 
I also just noticed that when I send rematch invitations, it sends two messages at once, as well.

Must be but I don't always want to log in with incognito just to play. Besides caches, not sure what I can do
