Dreaming about chess?

Yep. That was me in the other post.

First time it's ever happened to me.
The strange part is that it was a happy feeling dream. I would have thought that if I ever dreamed about chess it would be more like a nightmare.

It's a nightmare for me. Also this occurs for anything you sink enough time into. I've played so many video games that I dream in third person usually. While also seeing in first person. Figure that out, because I can't even begin to explain or describe such a visual state. It just happens and dream-me thinks nothing of it.

Not sure if that's you in your avatar but the picture is as bad as that guy who used a topless mirror selfie who thankfully closed his account.

It's a good thing. It indicates that your brain is reorganising based upon your Chess experiences. But try not to worry what those neurons were previously prioritising.

Why do you even care about someone's avatar bruh isn't this also a social site its their choice simple XD

I’ve posted about this before. It happens to me too. Quite vivid sometimes. I wonder if it’s pawn addiction? ;o)

I’m deeply offended and potentially scarred. I just hope that image doesn’t interrupt my chess dreams. ;oD
Just want some thoughts on this and opinions
When I play chess when about to fall asleep or later at night (around 10pm onwards), I find that I keep rethinking positions over and over, some of them aren't even from the games I might have just played, and just seeing moves in my head. I've stopped playing chess later at night but I'm curious, has this happened to anyone else?
Edit: not that important but I remember seeing another forum post on something like this I think.
Another edit: Thanks for all the responses good to know that I'm not going insane or something lol
