well played even though Carlsen 10 was weak in the endgame. how many month did you play him at?

Well 1 game doesn't mean much since the 9 year old Magnus makes quite a few mistakes. If you can consistently (5-10 wins in a row) beat him with no takebacks, you'd be around 14-1500.

Magnus Carlsen at 9 years flat was rating 904, so I'd say the Play Magnus app at 9-10 years is around 1200 given his fast improvements.

I do not think those 900 was fide-elo, it must have been Norwegian Elo, and that is a very different scale at low numbers. I have 1029 N-elo and 1428 Fide today. Online chess.com is at 1705. Magnus might have been at ca that level or above at his 9th birthday. During his 9-10 year he climbed 1000 points (if I remember correctly), which means that he as 9 sharp probably had a real strenght some houndred points higher, because the rating is based on previous results.

PilateBlue, are you very young? You are learning very fast, so I guess you are between 7 and 16 years old. I do not think you are anywhere near The real 9 strenght of Magnus as he was playing himself, but you really are cathching up very fast. So fast that you might become a GM if you spend 10 000 hours on it , and does it right, supported by GM, IM, FM or CM instructors.

This was 10 years 0 months. I haven't played against any of the specific months (even though I have the full app).

Lol if I were only 7 years old then this would certainly be impressive. More so my vocabulary than my chess ability. I'm 18.

I cannot explain 39. kf1 instead of taken a pawn.

must be a computermove by Carlsen.

Yeah that was odd. Kf1 was a mistake. The score goes from -1.6 to -2.1 after that move.

18 is still young enough to be a superfast learner.

Played a great Samisch KIngs Indian as white and won in a pawn and King endgame but forgot to view my game from the magnus site so I could share it. Is there anyway I can find all of my games via play magnus.com?

I'm planning on doing a 10 game match over the span of about a week against Magnus 10. I'm gonna treat it like an actual chess match, so I won't start over when I don't like the opening or anything like that. To make it more fair, I'm going to alternate colors after the first game. After each game I'll post the pgn with my annotations.

I'm gonna use a different thread just to make things more organized -
