Ever Get Accused Of Cheating?

I guess he wasn't paying the game sufficient attention, thinking he'd beat you easily, and then maybe got angry at losing.
At least he didn't accuse you outright, and did congratulate you on your win.

No kidding...! He positioned his bishop, sacrificed his rook to get his queen out where he could move towards mate - and then doesn't play it? Better ask him how he got to a 2000+ rating.

Everyone who plays online chess will get this type of accusation from time to time. That is why I believe chess software is, in a way, ruining chess! It is great for learning and studying with, and even some entertainment - but it's also great for those with low self-esteems sitting at home who want to take your points.
I worked on a computer abuse team for an online chess website for quite a while, and I can tell you that cheating is here to stay, unfortunately.
It's gotten so bad that many administrators who work on chess sites won't even play rated games for fear of being in the "cheater's spotlight". In essence, they are scared to win! Accusations and cheating can take the fun *right* out of the game we all love so much :(.

You must be using a bad engine, and he had a bad day, I think most players at his level should have seen that 10..Bxb2? loses a piece to 11Rb1. If you missed that you won't be winning any world championships anytime soon imo :-)
I didn't look at the rest of the game, that move told me enough. Your opponent needs to play some of the faultless players I've met (some have been banned), they can play 5-60 perfect games simultaneously and make moves in each every day.
To answer your question, I've only been accused once, on Live Chess, by a guy who had just beat me. He won on time but I was just getting a strong attack so I guess my problem was having the temerity to nearly beat him!

You're right, he was cool, and did congratulate me. It just kinda freaked me out. I didn't cheat, I wouldn't want to have some computer disagree and get me banned.

I am not sure what you both are suggesting? If you think black should have played 28. Qxf1#, you should note that black is in check so the move is impossible.
Rookandladder. This looks like a fine game for you to study closely. My quick look showed a number of tactical missteps, starting with Black's grab of the b2 pawn. Instead of taking back with your bishop, I think you could have won black's bishop cleanly by Rb1, pinning it against the queen.
You should also look at move 17. Dropping your rook on the open file, and checking the kings, looks like a dynomite move. But my computer is saying its a huge error and that the far better move was Qf3. I am not sure I would have considered that move myself, but I'm no silicon monster. Studying just that one position would be interesting.
I wouldn't worry about your opponents concerns, as I'm sure he or she will realize they had the game well in hand until ill-placed Q moves spelled doom (move 21 and 25, ironically the same Q move).

Cheating in chess is an issue that Chess.com takes seriously. That said, it has minimal impact on the site and shouldn't be a concern for 99.9% of players. Unfortunately, there is much more paranoia about the topic than it actually deserves. Also, having several constant and redundant threads on the topic that circulate with the same questions and comments over and over again isn't helpful, and instead causes people to worry more than they need to. We have posted FAQs below that should address all questions on the topic. We have posted the Chess.com FAQs and policies here:

I just beat a player 1000 points higher rated than me. It was a "blind squirrel finding an acorn" kinda thing. God knows I throw away games against people lower rated than me sometimes.
So towards the end, the guy informs me that he will be analyzing the game, and if it matches the computer, then he will be reporting me for cheating.
This ever happen to you? I guess I should be flattered. A cursory glance at the game in question will reveal that we both made blunders. The computer analysis certainly didn't have us in the book very long.
Anyway, the guy signs off with "If it turns out you didn't use a computer, analysis will clearly show this, and I congratulate you on playing 1000 points above your level. You will soon be world champion my friend."
Weird.
Here is a link to the game if anyone cares.
