Expanded chess terminology?

Is there a name for the situation where a piece cannot move freely because it is defending another piece? It seems like there should be a name for this. Is there a longer list of descriptive terminology beyond the few simple "pin, "fork," "skewer" terms that a beginner learns? Thanks.

If you're the one attacking it's called removing the defender

If you're the one defending you would just say you can't move it because it's protecting your other piece

Also called undermining ig but I say remove the defender

i think op's talking about a piece being stuck, not removing it

If it’s defending multiple pieces, it’s overworked. Attacking it is called deflection or removing the defender. Luring it away with a sac is called distraction. I don’t think it has a name to.
