What are your two favorite pieces to use together to trap your opponent into a checkmate?

My two favorite pieces are the queen and the tower. How about yours.

I like them too. The bishop is pretty good with the queen also

Yea your write. And the horse is good to confuse your opponents and attack.

And its the only one that moves in a different direction.

Every piece is important, chess is a war and the pieces are a medieval army.

Does anyone see a risk is choosing a name in chess.com that indicates your favourite piece? Won't your opponent focus his attack on this piece or pieces?

especially if his favourite piece is the King

My favourite piece has to be a .44 magnum. So, you've got to ask yourself one question: Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?

knightreal is playing a clever double-bluff.

My favourite pieces are my pawns - because there are so many of them. I especially like the a-pawn. (Please don't attack my a-pawn).

Creating a mating net and then applying the actual checkmate with a pawn is super sweet. In your case applying the final touch with the 'a' pawn would be about as good as it gets :)
