favourite colour of squares?

As silly as this sounds, I think I like dark squares better than light squares. I play d4 or f4 with white and I reply e4 with e5 (or sometimes c5) with black. also I often play Bg7 but only rarely Bg2.

Does anyone have such an irrational preference? Does it have a Latin name? :)

I prefer burnt sunbeam and copper rose colored squares.

I find I like my chess boards to have about half of the squares a light color, with the other half a much darker color.  And I like to have the light and dark squares alternated in each line so that no light or dark squares are next to each other anywhere on the board and only touch corners.
