Tried that but doesnt work.

You'll have to do it through Fritz's Position Setup. Copy the FEN string to your clipboard, then open Position Setup (via Insert, Position Setup, I think). Then click on the "Paste FEN" button.
Anyone know how to post a FEN string into fritz ?
