Aronian was my prediction since the first round.

Aronian is in my opinion the favorite but he is capable of self destruction, is this were MVL vs Ding then there would be no doubt but Aronian struggles with pressure so I'd say the chances are 60-40 for Aronian.

I agree. Ding has been pretty much on fire throughout the tournament. He is capable of winning.
But then when faced with a guy like Aronian, it becomes a bit difficult to predict - simply because Aronian is unpredictable. He has Ivanchuk mood swings as well, though less regular.
I think the chances are about 55-45 in Aronian's favour. It'll be a close match.

Zurab Azmaiparashvili will win the world cup and the Candidates Tournament. I think we will have a new World Champion next year.

Aronian wins both rapid games! The FIDE World Cup, after 24 days, is finally over, and Aronian brings home the $120,000 grand prize. He also brings home the trophy, in all its glory. It'll sure be a nice thing to show off at his wedding 3 days from now :)
