Interesting. I didn't know the idea of a candidates tournament was around this early as an idea liked by some of the best players in the world.
I'd never heard anything before about Fischer singing!
I did, in one of Kasparov's books I think, but if I remember well Petrosian said he was overrating himself by far as a singer.
I'm surprised that Fischer spent only five hours a day studying chess. I always imagined him as being so consumed by the game that he spent practically every waking moment on it.
