Fixing

I want to present my unsatisfaction about a recent event.I was in a game vs a player with significantly higher ranking,in comparison with mine, and although i had a small matterial advantage(just one pawn), I had a huge possitioning advantage that would have almost certenly lead me to viktory no mater how the opponent decided to play(he was very restricted.I was heading 2 pawns to be upgraded and he couldnt do much about it.There were a lot more moves to be mate till checkmate,but since he saw that he had almost no chance of survival and decided he resigned.This in return brought me only +3 elo points althougj it was a 95% checkmate vs a much better ranked player than me.Were I to finish the game I would have gained a great deal of points.So I request a fixation of the system.One solution could be the calculation of the pawns possition(weather they are near the enemy line)

You get the same amount of points for a checkmate as you get for any other win condition for the combination of your and your opponent's rating and rating deviation values.

If you only got +3 you are higher rated than him at the time control you played....he may be higher rated at other time controls, or tactics or something else....do a little research.....click on his icon....you will see lots of different ratings there...
