Does anyone know why the display of Russian flags is still permitted on our site? It seems like we should get into line with other organizations by at a minimum banning the display of Russian flags until they end their war against Ukraine. That seems like the least we could do to support those suffering from the attack.

Ok thank you. It’s too bad we don’t at least remove the Russian flag for now. It’s hard to imagine allowing the display of the Nazi flag during WW2 and I think this needs to be viewed in the same context given the aggressive nature of the war being waged. However I appreciate your providing this information.

The Nazi flag is directly connected to a genocide and war though. It was only used during the Holocaust and WW2.
The Germans had another flag available that they could use instead of the Nazi flag, so thus it was acceptable to demand they got rid of the Nazi flag.
The Russian flag has existed for ages though, including in times of peace, so it's more difficult to tell them to stop using that flag. And what other flag can they use instead? The USSR flag?

I just thought it would be best to remove the flag until they stop the war. Not as far as other sporting organizations have gone but at least something. But I respect your opinion.
