Fritz15 and Chessbase Mega database 16

Does anyone know if you can use Fritz 15 with Chessbase Mega database.

Looked online and You_tube but cant seem to find anything

Well let me first say I don't know for sure, since I don't own either product but why wouldn't they be compatible?  One of the features of Fritz is access to their online database.  Can't imagine the file format would be different, although I've certainly been wrong before.  I've read that Chessbase has more sophisticated database management and search tools, which is only natural since Fritz is more of a "Jack of all trades" kind of program.  Even Fritz 12 is a bit much for me; I've figured out how to do analysis and play against the computer, but I don't pretend to use more than about 10% of it's features.  Anyway, someone is bound to weigh in with some actual knowledge rather than my conjecture.  Good luck!

They are compatible. File -> Open -> Database (something like this, I don't have my laptop open at the moment).

Thanks guys, i've since found out that they are actually compatable but to get the database weekly updates you need to have Chessbase 12/13.
