I just got back into chess analyzing and purchased Fritz from Amazon as a download. (I used to use Fritz and Chessbase analysis software a lot 5+ years ago, but the old versions didn't work with Win7, so I rebought Fritz.)
I'm doing a tactical problem database that I had from years ago, and I have the same problem I had before - I can't tell whose side it is to move. There is no dot on the board, or other indication on the display to show who's move it is.
I googled this extensively and saw you can do a 'workaround' by hitting "S" to setup position, and seeing whose side to move is set, but this seems awfully clunky for a respected chess program.
I also tried looking at the chess clock displays, but those don't seem to help either.
Am I missing a much more obvious method here?
